Things get so much better.
This day was literally a god-send. I was bumming on Tuesday about my not-so exciting memorial break, when I made plans to venture down to the beach and skip school today. Needless to say.. today was absolutely amazing. I woke up bright and early and drove down to the beach with the love of my life. Despite some rain, it’s was perfect. We laid in the sand, walked around cool shops, and just fell even more in love with each other than we already are. Then, I got home. Rehearsed for the Cabaret and then ran home to get ready. At home, I got the great news that I was hired for the summer camp I really wanted (and needed) to work at. I also found out that I won the mock elections at my school for senator - I was shocked. Plus - I got asked to be interviewed by the paper for being an outstanding senior! Crazy! The Cabaret went pretty well and then we all got ice cream and had some good laughs. I’m feeling great, and I know more good things are yet to come. I can barely fathom the idea of waking up at 6 am tomorrow - but I have absolutely nothing to complain about. Couldnt be happier!
